In the spirit of Valentine?s Day, I thought I would share with you a little love story of mine.

It not going to be about a person I'm afraid because... and here is a little personal secret... I've never been in love yet (yes yes, roll the sad violins!) ?

So here's the story of how I accidentally fell in love with Ibiza while I was looking for my other half on the island.

I remember it like it was yesterday...

It all started that hot Summer afternoon in 2016 where I was lying down in my bed and it hit me again...

I was broke and I had NO ONE to hang out with.

It was a terrible feeling that unfortunately, I had experienced many times before but this day was different.

Realising that I had 0 women in my life for the 23rd time made me do something that I had never done.

That day I took action, went to Google, typed "how to get girls" and to my surprise, there was no shortage of information about it. ?

At first, I began a performing journey learning about what I was supposed to say or do.

But dozens of hours on YouTube and a bunch of self-development audiobooks later, I realised that women, friends or money are simply the results of becoming a better man.

During this personal growth journey, I started to see Ibiza with the eyes of a more mature, grateful and grounded person.

I started to appreciate all the opportunities & beauty that she had been offering since I set foot on the island.

So then, the inevitable happened... I felt in love with her and we have been in the most wonderful relationship for the past 2 years. ?

Something I learned from this whole experience that has helped me to be a better coach is developing a growth mindset to overcome my own personal limiting beliefs.

I am not that lonely, broke & unhealthy boy anymore.

I?ve turned into a positive man that wakes up at 5 am, takes cold showers and runs marathons while working with incredible people in a beautiful Mediterranean island.

This has put me in the position to confidently inspire my clients to also believe in their own capacities and talents to become better students, better Spanish residents... and also... better people. ?

Crazy, right?
